An entire Riad, reserved exclusively for you

Le Pavillon Kniza is an intimate three-bedroom Riad hidden behind a traditional Medina door. Inside, a glass-roofed patio, a Moroccan salon and a private rooftop with a pool and open-air lounge create a place made for unhurried days. Reserved in its entirety for one party, the Riad is yours alone throughout your stay.

The Riad

A private place to experience Marrakech at your own pace

Traditional Riads were designed around an inner patio, turning away from the street to create calm, shade and privacy at their centre.

At Le Pavillon Kniza, a glass roof shelters the patio while allowing the light to filter through. Below it, the dining table rests on a red Berber rug, the Moroccan salon opens through an archway, and the upper gallery looks down into the heart of the Riad. The result is a welcoming central space to enjoy in every season.

With three bedrooms, a salon, a private kitchen and a generous rooftop, the entire Riad becomes your own setting in Marrakech. Breakfast follows your rhythm, afternoons drift between the patio and the pool, and every space is reserved for you and your guests.

Our housekeeper and cook visit each day to prepare breakfast and care for the Riad, offering warm, attentive service while leaving you free to enjoy complete privacy.

The rooftop

Your private rooftop, from afternoon swims to dinner under the stars

Above the Medina streets, the rooftop is a private retreat throughout the day. Cool off in the green-tiled pool, settle into a lounger in the afternoon, or gather in the shaded lounge as the light softens over Marrakech.

In the evening, dinner can be served beneath the stars while the glass roof of the patio glows gently underfoot.

The bedrooms

Three serene bedrooms, each with its own bathroom

Pale sand tadelakt, sage-green woodwork, Berber rugs and carved plaster details give each bedroom its own quiet character. All three have a king bed, private bathroom, air conditioning, heating and an in-room safe, with crisp white cotton and wool blankets chosen for comfort in every season.

The kitchen

Moroccan cooking, prepared in your Riad

Le Pavillon Kniza has a private kitchen for your stay. Use it at your leisure, or leave it to Dada, whose Moroccan cooking brings the flavours of home to your table.

Each morning begins with a freshly prepared breakfast: msemen and beghrir from the griddle, eggs, jams, fruit, coffee and mint tea. It can be served in the patio or on the rooftop, at the hour that suits you.

With a little notice, dinner can be waiting when you return from the souks — perhaps a slow-cooked tajine, Friday couscous, or a private table set on the rooftop. Ingredients are purchased locally and added to your final bill.

The salon

A warm place to gather as evening falls

When the Marrakech air cools after sunset, the Riad's interiors become an inviting place to slow down and gather.

The Moroccan salon opens from the patio, with generous banquettes, deep cushions and painted scenes of the old city. Alongside it, a second sitting room offers a television and fireplace, with a fire prepared for cool winter evenings. It is a comfortable setting for a final mint tea, a quiet conversation, or simply the pleasure of staying in.
